Standley Chasm is privately owned and operated by the Western Arrernte people and not part of NT Parks.

Directions

Standley Chasm is a 40-minute drive west of Alice Springs and accessible by sealed road during operating hours. Take Larapinta Drive until you see the turn off to the Chasm on the right.

  • Bring water, a hat, sunscreen and wear appropriate footwear.

  • 40 minute drive from Alice Springs, accessible by sealed road. Ample parking.

  • Enter and purchase tickets at the Kiosk cafe.

  • You walk the trail(s) at your own risk. Landowners are not responsible for any injuries that may result.

  • Native flora and fauna is protected.

  • Please do not feed dingoes or wallabies.

  • No pets or alcohol permitted.

  • Concessions are available for Alice Springs locals (ID required).
